Fees and Ordering

Requesting a traffic Plan is easy. Contact us by e-mail, by fax or telephone. We will need to know the following:

1.	The street names and exact location of the works you intend to perform;
2.	The date the work is to be done and the hours. Be aware, however, that the municipality or province may have rules about the hours you can be on the highway depending on traffic and noise concerns.
3.	The nature of the work and why it is being done.
4.	Name of the contact person for the project, telephone, cell, fax numbers and e-mail address.
5.	Has the province or municipality been contacted yet.
6.	Do you wish us to apply for the permit for you.

This is enough to get us going. If you have not used our service before we will require a credit form to be completed, or, in the alternative, a deposit to secure our fees. A form of Credit Application is available on this website. We also have a Planning Guide to assist you with the information you will require for your traffic plan. Even if you only partially fill this out you can fax it to us and we can get to work immediately. The more of the information you provide the faster we can prepare the plan and the less expensive it will be.

Price List

Basic Rate: (48 hour delivery)				$85.00/hr
	Basic plan involving two TCP's in a standard single lane alternating traffic situation is estimated to take 2 hours. A more complex plan will depend on the complexity of the traffic patterns. A detailed price estimate will be prepared upon request.
24 Hour Priority Delivery				add $50.00
4 Hour Rush Delivery				add $100.00
Professional Engineering and Design				$125.00/hr
		Where the permitting authority requires the plans to be sealed by a professional engineer that engineers time will be billed separately. Maximum use of draughtsmen will be made to minimize this additional cost.
Site Inspections by Qualified TCP				$24.00/hr
		Fees include travel time to and from Burnaby office.
Applications for Permits and Licences				$85.00/hr
		Applications to Municipal and Provincial approving officers for permits to work on the roadway are undertaken on behalf of the customer in the customer's name. It is unusual for this to take more than one hour. Remember, approving authorities require permits submitted five days in advance.
Notes:
1.			Minimum Charge: All plans are subject to a two hour minimum charge. An itemized statement will be prepared and forwarded to the client for each project within 72 hours of project completion.
2.			Estimates: Once instructions are received, SiteSafety will make every effort to estimate the time required to complete the requested plan based upon those instructions and an investigation of the work site. If further amended instructions are received the time estimate will be corrected.
3.			Disbursements: Expenses incurred on behalf of the client will be itemized and receipts provided. Any disbursement out of the ordinary course will be discussed with the client in advance.
4.			Delivery of Plans and Permits: We recommend delivery by E-mail in .PDF, .JPG, or .PCX formats. This provides the fastest delivery and quality is as good as your printer. Fax delivery is fast but it is in black and white and has poor resolution. Acceptable for giving instructions but a poor medium for delivery of plans and permits. Paper copies will be mailed or delivered upon request but this method is slow and delivery will be billed at the Site Inspection rate.
5.			Payment Terms: All accounts are due and payable upon receipt. Accounts over 30 days will be charged interest at the rate of 2% per month on the outstanding balance.
